When my family and I moved from Marin Co., CA
in 2008 to Portland, it was a lifestyle choice. We had
grown weary of navigating the Bay Area with three young
kiddos and attempting to squeeze in occasional adult life
fun…dinners out, walks for 2, a shower.
When we had successfully landed in Portland, I used to
tell my friends and family back in CA that we had inadvertently
bought ourselves more life.
Now it’s 2020 and apparently, “buying yourself more life”
is still a desire, even if you don’t know it’s actually “a thing”.
Enter our Marin Co., CA friends with two young kiddos, who just
can’t seem to settle into the Marin lifestyle . After a great conversation
about this feeling, and how it was a large part of the reason my
family had left Marin in 2008, these folks were ready to roll…all
the way up to Portland.
With a wonderful real estate transaction behind us, and their
new life in front of them, I know this family will find so much
more life here in Portland! Congratulations and thanks for allowing
