In honor of National Margarita Day, I have compiled a list of the best margaritas you can find in Portland, home to some of the best craft cocktails out there.
Matador
Matador is known for its atmosphere, food, and drinks. The cocktail menu is full of tasty choices but the margaritas are incredible. The NW location on the corner NW 23rd and Quimby has eleven different margarita variations on the menu. The Smokey and Cucumber-Jalapeño are my personal favorites! Locations in NW, SE, and N Portland.
¿Por Qué No?
This hip restaurant is very well-known in the Portland area and often has lines out the door at each of their locations. Their classic margarita is excellent but my favorite is their Mezcal version.
Chez José
Chez José, located off Terwilliger, has been in Portland for over 35 years. The menu includes multiple fruity options of blended or classic margaritas. For food, the lime-chicken enchiladas are a fan-favorite.
Nuestra Cocina
A warm, inviting Mexican restaurant known for it’s food and atmosphere and home to the popular Scarlet Orange Margarita.
