Helping dear friends realize their dreams of real estate investment
make this job worth doing! Gregg & Heather had a dream that looked
something like a downsize from the family house that could potentially
generate future income by having an ADU or possibly a multiplex.
As I was tending to a listing in the NW, Gregg rang and asked about a
duplex around the corner from where I was, and I dropped everything to
drive by the home. It had just come on the market a few hours
earlier, and once I saw it, and the price, I knew it was going to fly.
I flew into action with a call to the seller’s agent and completed as much
research as possible that day. I asked my friends to sleep on it and let me
know if they were still interested when they woke up. As I knew it was the one,
I composed most of the offer that night. My suspicion was that we would be
competing by mid day, and indeed we were.
I stayed in communication with the seller’s agent, we composed a strong, no nonsense
offer and voila…mission accomplished.
