Sarah and Dan were renting in the St.John’s neighborhood when we began their search. While we set the search up to stretch the boundaries of this neighborhood, as we toured in different areas of town it became clear that St. John’s was where their hearts lived and so we continually returned to the possibilities there. Sarah and Dan came into the market clear-eyed about the fact that there are no signs of it slowing and weighed their options with graceful and grounded perspectives. They ended up striking a balance between wanting a home with built-in charm and knowing that opting for more of a “blank slate” increased their chances of success. They landed a home with a perfect combination of the two – room to add character, but with enough mid-century flair that they felt they were not settling for something that lacked charm. But most importantly, they are moving within the neighborhood they are committed to and love.
