I am convinced, based on the number of my clients looking for homes with pools in 2019, that swimming pools are all the rage in Portland!
When Don & Jen came to my open house, one of the things they said was Jen had grown up with with a pool and it was wonderful to be the home where all of the kids congregate and they wanted to create the same thing for their kids. This is what drew them to my listing.
This home had it all! The pool, spa, expansive party deck and outdoor kitchen. In the end, it had MORE than they needed, and there was not enough open space for the kids to run wild, so they decided to keep looking.
They quickly recruited me to help them find a home with a pool that sat alongside open space, in the Lincoln school district. The home needed to have a soul, but not be too old, and mid century was the style that spoke most to them.
Within a couple weeks of meeting, we were in contract on that VERY home!
As this was the first detached home for them, it allowed me to closely guide them through all of the elements of the purchase. Now, they are ready to hunker down for the next decade in their new “family home”!
