The Dog House

By Natalie Tracy, December 29, 2023

So many of my clients buy The Dog House. And by that I mean a house for their dog! 😅

The top three things that get requested when I meet with new home buyers:
1. Plenty of light – We live in the gray Pacific Northwest, after all.
2. Not a fixer – With the exception of investors, most home buyers need something fairly move-in ready, maybe with some small projects in mind.
3. A good yard/enough space for their dog!

I’m not kidding, it’s a thing in our very dog-friendly city. And as a fellow dog-lover and mom to a wonderful pup, I get it. They deserve all the love and all the yard and all the space. So, here’s to The Dog House! If your dog is motivating your house search, just know you’re in very good company!
