After 12 years of living in one of Laurelhurst’s most romantic craftsman homes Lori was ready to make a move. She and her daughter Stella were ready for a big change.
Out with the old, as charming as it is, and in with the new! She wanted a newer house, one that was super energy efficient with as many green building aspects as possible. She didn’t even know it yet but we would even find her a house with solar panels and an electric car charger! She’s thinking of the future of course.
We hunted down a stunning, newly built home by Green Canopy Homes. We found out that Green Canopy builds homes with sustainable materials and methods in order to reduce the community’s impact on the climate. Their building philosophy really aligned with Lori’s values and what she wanted in her new home. The home’s quality and interior finishings couldn’t be beat. Her favorite part of the house was the light-filled, second master suite on the third floor that has a roof top deck to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. As I was giving Lori keys today to her awesome new home, I found out that Stella gets the room with the roof top deck! I see some epic slumber parties in her future!
