It was awesome for my mother and my daughter to really get to know each other while my daughter was growing up. It has been awesome to be able to seamlessly help each other with projects, groceries and the like. In the era of a pandemic, it has been a lifesaver, and our proximity has made saving her life, as in not bringing home a virus that could easily kill any of us, but especially an older person, a major focus and a priority for me. Produce gets delivered, soaked in soapy water, rinsed, dried under the supervision of Bender, the Real Estate Dog and Ruby, the cat, from her catio.

Shoes that go out in the world get a vinegar bath.

Mail and newspapers get quarantined for days.
