To say this market has been a bit of a challenge would be an understatement, but this guy stuck it out, rolled with the punches and ended up with a better-than-expected, larger home for less money and worth more than we initially thought possible. It’s even in his preferred neighborhood. One thing always leads to another…

Early one morning I was working out in my garage, panting, face looking like a tomato and somebody starts knocking on the garage door. Very confused (who even knows I go in there?) I managed to extract myself and open the door – and there was my neighbor! He had a friend who needed to find a place in short order and needed a REALTOR®. Perfect – it just so happens that’s what I do! We chatted that day, talked about all of the things, and immediately knew this was going to be a good  fit. Fast forward a couple of weeks and my client’s offer was accepted on this dreamy 1960 split level home in NE Portland!

We navigated the process of inspections and repairs with masks, maintained social distancing, and used safest possible practices. Hello disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer! It’s been an interesting journey, but one that made me realize we really can do what we’re doing in a responsible way. Housing is essential, it’s an important issue to me, and it feels good to be working thoughtfully to keep my community safe.
